How We Calculated Your Score
Centering Analysis
We examine the centering ratios from your DIG report to determine the maximum possible grade. Centering places a hard cap on what grade your card can achieve, regardless of other factors.
Starting Score
Based on the centering cap, we determine your starting score. For example, if centering limits your card to a 9, your starting score is 949 (the maximum score for a 9 grade).
Deductions
We analyze corners, edges, and surface metrics from the DIG report. Any score below 1000 on these attributes is deducted from your starting score to calculate the final TAG score.
Final Grade
The calculated score is matched to TAG's grading scale to give you your final grade and condition designation.
